Pressing the Go Button…

Phase 2 is a two to three-month methodology that allows for an in-depth examination of the organization’s current state and marrying that against future state strategic or tactical initiatives. A detailed road map is produced, focused on the people, process, and technology changes necessary to transform the infrastructure.

Over an estimated three-month period, a high-level review will examine:

  1. Current IT state
  2. IT hardware and software inventory
  3. Relevant current and planned IT projects
  4. Staff skills and the organizational model
  5. Processes and controls
  6. Capital and operating expense budget

Based on these reviews and onsite analysis and interviews with key organizational stakeholders, a final report will:

  • Catalogue the current state of major infrastructure (computing, storage and network) and telecom components, identifying capabilities, life expectancy, and costs
  • Examine overall adherence to business and IT objectives for people, process and technology
  • Provide a strategic, multi-year road map that includes:
    • A future state architectural design and infrastructure strategy
    • A high-level summary of projected capital/operating costs
    • An outline of the resources/skills required to implement
    • risk assessment and mitigation plan based on current people/process/technology gaps
